Free Virtual Training via Zoom
Jennifer Christman, Psy.D., ABPP, presents a free 1.5-hour live virtual professional training program on Artificial Intelligence and Forensic Psychology: Principles and Practices.
This program will review the current capabilities of AI and demystify its processes and terms. This program will discuss how forensic mental health practitioners can integrate AI into their practice and workflow. Potential risks, consequences, and misuse of AI in forensic settings will be discussed. Forensic-specific ethical issues will be addressed, including transparency, admissibility in court, and data security. Guidelines for formulating policy and vision for AI use in one's practice will be shared. Concerns about AI’s potential for contributing to injustice, oppression, and disparities in mental health and the criminal justice system will be discussed, as well as strategies for reducing bias and inequality by AI.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

Jennifer Christman, Psy.D., ABPP
Dr. Christman is a board-certified forensic psychologist based in Washington, DC. She is on the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) Artificial Intelligence Task Force (AITF) and has published and presented nationally on AI in forensic psychology. Dr. Christman has served as a forensic evaluator and expert witness in court systems, forensic hospitals, and correctional facilities across the U.S. She specializes in juvenile forensic assessment, parental fitness, military evaluations, doctoral student training, and AI ethics and bias. Dr. Christman currently serves as the National Chair of Examinations and on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Forensic Psychology (ABFP). She has been featured on The Forensic Psychologist Podcast, in Psychology Today, and On Board With Professional Psychology.
