Essential DBT Skills for Frontline Staff: Hospitals presented by Michele Galietta, PhD
This program contains an introduction to DBT and its use by frontline staff, training on essential DBT skills—including mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—as well as detailed information on the use of validation and coaching strategies. It is targeted at frontline staff and can be used as an adjunct to staff training and supervision in DBT milieus and other environments that serve difficult clients. This program takes approximately 5 hours to complete. Once complete, the specific skills can be revisited by staff on a regular and ongoing basis.
